I dont like this bar at all, anyone had any experience with a profile bar? It has to be a bar that runs a shim.
If I get a bar from profile I'll pick up some tofu pegs too

I have to run a shimmed bar shimless, because It's a BMX stem.

You can just get a DMR one. It's 4130 and has shims. And cut it down!
1. Snafu stems are frickin awesome! The hardcore stem (pictured) is the awesomest of all the awesomeness... er, yeah.
2. Mebee try the MX model of the ProTaper ... BMX diameter, super wide, strong, good looking, etc. Chop some off the ends though... the stock width is hugenormous.
And now for something completely different:
I just switched from cut-down bars (~24.5") back to regular puppies (26") on my P.3. Cut-down seemed to be the way to go for tricks where one turns the handlebar (such as TURNBARS baha), but going back to the 26 feels better for all the stupid pseudo-trials moves I'm trying now... well, as trialsy as one can get without a front brake, anyway. More control, more comfort, et cetera. Also, my lower back hurts a LOT less with the wider bar (doing bunnyhops to rear wheel on benches, walls, etc).
Thoughts on cut-down versus "regular" (26") width?
