I preregistered for the oct. race like always do but this time the fee was $35 not $40 which I thought was pretty cool since I am broke as f**k. SO then I get an email yesterday from the registration company saying that they fucked up and are charging me another $5. I was given a discount that I am not eligable for. But I never asked for a discount and the web site said $35, I was charged $35 and my printed recipt is for $35.
anyone else have this bullshit problem?
I am calling lazlo to talk w/ him about this since it is bullshit that they charge you more after the fact.

I dont pre-register for races.
Never know when you gonna slam your head into a berm at 42mph
and have to miss a race.
Then you get a DNF AND you lose your $$$.

I always pre-reg. on line and it seemed odd when my total was less for the Oct. race than the rest of the year. I just thought that I was getting a discount. I got the email on the $5 too. Oh well. I had a blast anyway, no matter how much is cost. I don't think that Laz has any control over it. It is all Active.com's work. They probably just put the wrong price in and realized it afterwards. This won't stop me from pre-reg. I like the convienence.
I know it isn't Lazlo's fault, but they told me to talk w/ him about it, I think he will be understanding. the reason they want me to talk w/ laz about it is so he will eat the loss, which I think is wrong.
what pisses me off is that they made the mistake and they want me and you other guys that pre-regestered to pay for it. that is poor business practice.
I am just going to have my bank refuse to pay it for the time being

We have no control, only in selecting the company to help us with the pre-reg process. Any other suggestions, I'm open. Come talk to me, I'll buy you a beer to make up for it.
