It was really tiring. I am so used to having gears, I kinda burned myself out. There are a buch of adjustments that have to be made, but I like it so far. I will post pics once I get some. Gotta tell you guys who ride these SS's, good job. I didn't get to ride it much, but hope to hit up the local skate park after my honeymoon...

Wicked. I found it tiring for the first couple weeks after I switched, and then I got used it it. You have to sorta pedal differently.

i wanna go SS so very... very... bad right now. But my bike is also my DH and trail ridin bike along with its normal jumping and street use. So thats why ive kept the big heavy wheels and gears on. I think once i get a DH bike itll be bye bye to those. Other thing with SS is now u have to REALLY pedal for our dirt jumps and i dunno if itd be possible to find the right gearing Confused

So true. First time I was on the 250 I couldn't believe how my legs hurt after awhile. Now...no problem.

Gimps are damn cool. I love the raw finish frames. Soooo purdy.

thatoneguy - where are you in the Bay Area? We're doing an urban ride in SF a week from Sunday, if you're down. I believe there area few decent spots, and zeeeero cops on Sunday morning.

I actually have one of the Pink frames. Next Sunday is the day after my wedding, so I plan on being hung over. SOunds like fun though. By the way, I am in Dublin...

i have my bike setup ss now, but i think after i get my new cranks, i'm going to go 1x8...i can't seem to fiiind the right gear with the ss...
