I'm going. the only thing that will keep me away is if they cancel. anyone have any idea if that have ever happened? if so, how do we find out?
cancel ahead of time? *HIGHLY* doubtful, esp. since we don't know the track of the storm. Cancel at 10am Sunday? Much more likely, esp. if the wind is blowing too hard to run the lift or if there's lightning. Maybe Blizzard (Laz) can give us some more info?

hahaha what a laugh. cancel the ambc race? The jet dont think so. the only time platkill canceld the race was during the flood in 99 or so. the road where the ambulance comes in was totally flooded, and no cars could pass thru. thats the only reason why the race was postponed - it wasnt canceld.

Charley is going to do Bonnie, but Charley ain't gettin' any of Platty. The race is on, rain or shine. We've never canceled a race except the race Jet spoke of, when the road and bridges were destroyed by 7" of rain in 2 hours. No one could leave or arrive until emergency services cleared the bridges for safe travel. And we actually didn't cancel only postponed. We almost lost the lodge that weekend. Local forecast says nice on Saturday, could be wet Sat night and chance on Sunday, but only a 60% chance a this point. It all depends on the track of Charley.
