For a stock or mod bike? Remember that if you singlespeed a stock bike, you can't enter stock class in pretty much any competition. For a stock bike, Surley ss hubs are cheap and good quality. For a mod, any 3/8 bmx hub will do, really. www.empirebmx.com for mod hubs

yeah, I basically hate dans and their shady business tactics. They are certainly the Walmart of BMX mailorder. Empire seems to have really good people running it, and they support the Texas scene, so even though I am from mass, I'll support empire.

dans decided to start charging tax when shipping to NY....so that pretty much kills their advantage over anyone...

Ive had good experiences with dans comp. Ordered a ton of stuff from there thru the past couple years, it all gets here really fast with no issues, and at a good price. I dont see what the problem is.

Ive also ordered a bunch off albes, which has a much better site in my opinion, funny hand written descriptions of products kind of like empire has, but albes has fucked my order up before, like not including some spindle spacer I needed for my cranks. They sent it right away though when I called.

Ive also orded only 1 thing from empire before, but it got here w/ no complaints,

Best site on the web.

Great service.

Plus, he never charges tax to anyone.

P.S. His staff is amazing... and not retarded.
