Screw the burning bushes of the North Shore that are clouding some planned bike trips. Try this on for size:
Leave this Wednesday PM: SUNDAY RIVER, MAINE
Thursday - Friday: Ride Sunday River
-Leave Friday Night-
Arrive at either Killington, VT or Gore Mt. New York
Ride all day Saturday
Saturday night or Sunday morning leave for Mt. Snow for the brewery festival and riding!
Monday - Plattekill!
------------------------------------------
We're going to be playing it all by ear...camping in parking lots, sides of roads, etc. Reply if you want to meet up and join in the fun.

How is Whiteface? I know it's skiing is renowned. But what about the freeride, downhill runs? How does it compair to Plattekill?
Sunday River is hands down the best place...don't get me wrong, Plattekill is awesome. But you just can't beat pine trees.

Mountain Creek sucks. My friend was riding with some guy from B.C. last weekend up there. After a few runs, the guy asked him, "So where's the Diablo Freeride Park," he said: "You're riding it." The guy said, "This is freeriding?"

My Bro said the same thing...Everybody on this board crucified him...even the owner of Diablo....How professional...then someone mysteriously deleted the post !
Diablo did just get up and running and I hear it is a work in progress, improving every week with allot of hard work by people on Hcor. I haven't been there yet so I couldn't say.

--------------its a dope place to ride man! for those of us who raced mt creek a couple years a go then got it taken away love it a bit more. i did the last race at mt creek b4 they closed in 2000. i was ready to do the whole fackin series. far as the cruisification, its just a little brother thing. everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when its just ignorance and not said professionaly then that is what should b expected. i dont know what was exactly said but im sure shawn had his reasons.
u get to diablo, and ill make a trip to stowe next summer( i gotta go back to school sunday )
