about hitting abusive drops and risking injury. From what I gathered, the go-around was the faster line...so why hit it? It would be cool if you could make up a bunch of time...like make the go-around longer intentionally. That way, if you really wanted a shot a winning, you would HAVE to take it,...or if you fell and had a shot to shave sigificant time, you could pull the trigger. That way the risk of folding a wheel up or eating shit has a pay off....sort of a vertical passing lane.

the option wasnt faster. whoever said that was wrong. all the pros hit the drop for a reason, not b/c it looks cool.
