for full on dj's I think a small HT is the best option especially when setup 24/24.

If I was to race more DS/BSX I would look at getting a short-travel bike w/ 26/26. Just like Acadian said - courses are a bit rough for a HT.

I was totally against jumping DS bikes but my opinion changed when hitting a natural tabletop jump in Stowe this summer. I only had my Stinky and was very happy with how it was jumping - before I left I was getting one-footed tables that felt sooo nice.

I'll have to bring the Stinky to the trails one day for shits and giggles...

Have to agree there don.i have the HT setup with the 5" in the front that is adjustable to 3"and the 26"front and the 24" rear with a 24" 2.7 tire on the rear.Want to talk about hucking Shocked For the full on DH the Stinky does the job Wink

I definitely prefer full-suspension for jumps and especially for racing. Mainly because when I screw up I get to keep riding instead of dying! Although for street riding it's hardtail all the way Smile
