im lookin to buy an 15 inch kona stuff. i plan on using it for jumping and mountain x and slalom. But i still need to be able to do some xc on it. Will it be big enough for a trail bike? I am 5'8". plan on setting it up with a 4 inch fork and a lighter build.
thanks

with your hight, you should be fine, you could always get a diffented size stem, duh, but the options there.

i am 5'8 too, 17 is a good size. It is big enough for trails but small enough to jump. If you were just doing urban/dj then go for the 15 but if u want some xc/trail probly 17 would be best

Yeah i've got a Stuff. I think it's the 15" model. Only seems to measure 14" though.
I'm 5'7" and it's perfect for me. Drop the seat for DJ/Urban
Or raise it for XC, if doing an all day type ride i might put the standard stem back on but for all else i'm using a 50mm. Also running Mavic 223(XC) wheels and Avid discs and it's not too heavy.
Sorry about the crappy pics. I'm at work and a bit busy.
Let me know if you want any more info.

Does anyone know what "Kona" means in Portuguese slang? Think the opposite and imagine a Portuguese brand named "Kunt"
Back in the days, when I had a Kona AA, I used to say things like this all the time:
"Can't really go out now, I'm greasing the Kona"
"I get to ride a Kona whenever I want, and she never complains"
So... around here, you can't go wrong with a name like "Kona"...

I guess he'll do what he can with the info i've given him. The bb7 is one bike i concidered along with a Bullit and the new 24 LeDude but i decided i wanted a linkage bike. A BB7 would be cool though. Let me know if your gonna have somthing done for christmas. If i don't make it to Melbourne maybe i could meet ya at Thredbo or somthing.
