I got 2 pratice runs in before my race run, and then a few after. All in all i got a lot of riding in. Not as much as I wanted, but I usually never push it when I am tired cause that when accidents happen.

Yeah me too, my arms and hands were killing me after my race run, but i was the fasted out of all the buffalo boys this weekend so that made up for not getting 10 runs in.

YEA, NO SHIT...I wore armor all weekend, got 4 hrs of sleep, one freeride run with no armor and I end up launching myself off a drop and feel like I got hit by a car because I was tired and just kind of riding along.

That's not really saying alot, but i think there is something to Franks comments about not getting programmed in at practice speed by riding other trails during the day.
I think I rode the course probably 7-8 times and at race time I pretty much just ended up racing at practice speed. By Sunday morning my forearms were already shot from practice and I had a few blisters on each hand. I think I tried too hard to memorize the course by just riding it instead of making better use of fewer practice runs.

That sucks, maybe you should race like I do.......take one pratice run and call it a weekend. I only praticed the course 3 time this weekend and spent all my other time freeriding and drinking beer. Just goes to show you, if you win pratice you cant win the race too.
Hope your foot doesn't fall off, that looks prety bad. I guess you can tell the ladies that you busted it kicking ass at the local pub or something.
Maybe next time you should ride in Timbos laced up high so that doesn't happen again.
The only injury I got during the weekend, was tired liver and brused ego.
