Our weekend didn't go so good either, on one of Richies practice runs this morning he came flying into the chute after Plattekill chute and tagged his rear wheel on the small tree that sent him down the chute broad siding the next small tree.
Well long story short I just got home from the hospital, Richie ruptured his spleen and they had to remove it tonight - he is off the bike for a long while - I'm just glad he is OK
Sorry I had to run off early this morning but I had to get him home
Rich
Holy shit, hope he heals up fast & is feeling better soon!
Is the Plattekill chute the real steep one that dumps you on the ski trail?
That pro\expert course was pretty nasty, I took a run on it towards the end of the day on Saturday & it seemed like it was trying to thrash me at every turn, lol

shit i hope he is okay!
hopefully he can get back on his feet asap. tell him that we all hope he gets better!
i found out that i did break two of my fingers at the joints.
that doctor in the ER said 4-6 weeks, but i told her i need to race the next two weeks, so she recommended taking a couple of perc's before the race...man i love doctors.
That sucks. Hope everyone heals up fast. Anyone know what happened with Ulmer?

That sucks that everyone got wrecked in one way on another this weekend. I hope the injuries are not too serious, and we can all be out there to do it again next month. A speedy recovery to all, remember the best cure for an injury is a cold beer.
