I guess I'll give it whirl, maybe my lil guy Trav will try his first race. He just got medically cleared after all the injuries at Whiteface this year, poor guy.
I think we'll go up this weekend, the weather looks OK, but who knows what it'll be next weekend....
Shall I whip up a bucket of venison chili????

OHH BTW Tell Nolan I just talked to Macker and he says there is no need for the woodspliter!! we are setup for the winter,, Macker says "tell nolan to take off the G-string and get his ass up there"
nolan wants to take some sexy pics near the waterfall so you can remember him over the winter. maybe he will take it off for some x rated pics.

straight up super slider with some old school chutes. Better have good brakes for this race course !! I think Rob and his crew had a little too much to drink when blazing this course

Super Slider! Awesome, since I am on my second cobbled together frankenboxxer, seized cranks and bald tires I should have fun. I'm thinking I want full-on snow. Bad conditions + tired bike = better chances. I may bring up the Heckler as a back-up.
Hotel room anyone? I'm scared of the cold.

We are getting snow all week here and the weather is showing the same for plattekill. Maybe I will keep my riding to a minimum, drink lots and go on a hunt for a thief all weekeknd.
Anyone have any spare brass knuckles?

This is a great race course!! I know there is a nasty chute in it but hell I race sport and ride like shit and luv this chute! Me and Ronnie worked pretty hard to get this thing going and make it a fun course. Understand Nolan and DHdad are both on crutches so it was up to the two Geeks to tape/dig/chainsaw this thing back to health. Its a very Plattekill style course with no uphill grades(let go of the brakes and you will win!)
BTW Thanks again ViciousDHer for the beer break, he walked the course with crutches on Sunday!! HARDCORE!!
The complaint dept will be a big tent in the top parking lot with a keg of beer, ya cant miss us DELTA HOUSE!
But whoever rode the new course this past weekend I would like to know what ya thought

Course was good, like I said super slider. I'm trying to get new brakes before the weekend. The only spot I thought was sketch is the 3 foot drop out 2 feet to right turn down hill slider over roots. And the go around has a lefty to righty with about a hundred and five roots. NICE !
All in all, it's platty course, you should get plenty of grumblers.

nice pics of the course. most of the course is from 2 years ago. beginners have a very mellow course. they have only 1 tougher section with some roots right where it meets the other course. this one is for the non pedalers.

Ooooh! I think the pictures finally tripped a spark in my brain. I remember this course, it should be fun - a great "Last Chance for Glory" type track. I'm packing all my clothes, multiple gloves, socks, etc. for this one. Lots of rain gear and plastic bags too. You never know in November.
