We got a damn foot of snow here in Jerzey (yes I know I didn’t spell that correctly). I was stoked on hiking Mountain Creek next week but that wont be happening due to them being open all week. I wish creek was like platty and had the same guy winter and summer. Not bashing Creek/Diablo but platty has a better idea on running a mountain. Not bunches of get rich quick assholes that can careless about their riders. Creek really has to get there head out of there ass and realize that dhers can ride winter too.

Not sure yet when opening day will be at Platty.Keeping an eye on the weather hopefully we can open in late April as usual. We are planning to have a work/party weekend and as soon as we feel we can project a date we will have it out on the website and on HCOR etc.

hey Laz, would i be able to head up there some time early to mid april and clear out dead fall for a weekend? i won't be able to make it to opening day, assuming it is the last weekend in april, because of a Petrology field trip to NH.

I'll be there with a new group of huckers. Hopefully Scott_BMW can get off the couch and get his shit together for this season. Geoff is now the master downhill sensai without Chris being there.

Since Laz has posted May 5th as opening day, I guess that's the decision.

Cheers
