Hey so howed everyone enjoy the weekend!? I thought the course was pretty freakin fun, mix of all of it. We havent had mud at pkill this year either so it was definitly a change up of the normal dusty conditions. Saturday's rain was crazy, couldnt really see or feel my bars at the end of my run so i called it quits after about 4runs. Sunday was great though, it dried up a lil and became the normal thick mud that wasnt flying in ur face ever 2seconds like the water. I ended up making a fender outta a 2liter mountain dew container and some clothes hangers/duct tape, worked out awesome. My race run was wicked fun,, but not enough. 300th of a second off of 2nd place.. AH!!! I think from 2nd till 4th, which i got, was 4:23. sumthign sumthing.. tight racing definitly. Fun times though, cant wait for novemeber! How'd everyone else enjoy the mud?

Kurt how many flat tires did you get this weekend?
I like mud courses, I just hate sleeping in the rain.
I wanted to change my tires before the race but had to practice sunday becasue I only took 3 runs saturday, then my rear brake shit the bed.
I ended up 2nd in expert, had a crappy run I thought. I screwed up 2 times and was not able to get speed in one of the flat sections.
Double points next race

Yeh, all you guys that did well say you loved the mud. I had a horrible race run so I say that I hate the mud.
Anyway, had fun doing some practice runs with you so I can see how fast I really need to go - hopefully next time you will not have to wait as much.
Can't wait for the next race for my vengeance.

I have always liked the mud. Except 2004 Snowshoe, that was too thick.
I tend to do very well in mud

I think the course was awesome and one of the best i have ridden in that kinda rain.. werent any way steep shoots like in the past... riding in the mud was awesome but sat was too wet... sunday was good but my race run sucked... i fell twice, lost my pumpkin the first time (i found it no worries) and my second i went into the the big turn at the end of the high speed sect and slid off and down the hill which was a big pain in the ass to get my bike out of... but freeriding sunday in less rain on slippery leaves was sweet...
