3 riders - 3 podiums, 14 riders- 3 podiums, 25 riders - 3 podiums, over 25 riders - 3 podiums
What gives ? How about awarding the amount of riders based on the participation .

Hmm.. I say he shoulda let you pass - let the pinners pin - what was the gap on him? I mean, how much time between sending people out of the gate? You make up 30sec? 1min? 2?
The people that wont let you pass in that case dont get it... If its 4x, block me... not DH.
Poopon the old guy!
(BTW, when you say old, do you mean me at 36? or actually ooooold? Like lazlo! LOL - JK!)

Classes with under 10 riders should probably be combined... Probably one of the biggest reason norba sucks is the 5 year age classes. It totally kills good competition.

if you want more prize money why don't you start
showing up on freeride weekends, the place has been a little slow,
so give laz a break, not only that show up and freeride,
sometimes you guys forget we also ride for fun, at least that is how we
started, not for cash..............
just my 2 cents

Not trying to be a dick... cause i do like plattekill, but its not my job to figure out how to generate revenue for someone elses buisness. I simply cannot justify the $100 it would cost me to ride there for a day (im a college student).

Maybe like 1 podium for 3 riders, 3 podiums for 7 plus riders up to say 15, 4 podiums for 16 plus and so on . As the number of participants go up, the awards percentage per participant goes down . Meaning that they wouldn't award 1 place for every 3 (except when there is only 3 riders) because then you would have to award 10 for 30 and that would be unreasonable for the promoter . They could use the "square root system' for awarding classes with 16 plus riders . For example 4 for 16, 5 for 25, 6 for 36, etc.
This system would seem especially fair in the pro class where there is a high level of talent, speed and risk . Also there is always a good amount of riders in that class . A lot of guys seem to never see a podium once they go pro or semi-pro . Paying back more places would sweeten up the stakes a bit .
Sure, win, lose or draw, we all race because we love it, but getting a podium is nice once in a while .

everyone who says that rides diablo everyweekend. i get it, its cheaper to go to diablo. he wasnt saying you have to be a regular, maybe ride 2-3 weekends in a year instead of showing them no support and showing up soley on race weekends.
