its not like the whole course is rideable by all levels right now anyways, the trail gap....
And what is that crazy wood thing built up in the last pics
There is currently a long option towards the left to go around the road gap for people who do not wish to do it. The crazy wood thing built up in the last pics is an elevated bridge with wooden berm which drops you out on the ski slope from in the woods. It is really an awesome part of the trail and built solid by Macker and Dave.
We will be out working on it all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday so if you want to stop by and check it out or even lend a hand digging please do!

Oh yes. I wonder how many of these peeps on the board have ridden the DH runs in the winter. I love 'em. They're just as much fun after a solid snowfall.
All I know is the roadgap jump has high speed helicopter (maybe throw in a mute grab) written all over it.

I have to some extent, but usually off the North Face lift. It's kinda funny how many of the trails simply dissappear when there's a few feet of snow on the ground. But then completely different lines open up.

The bridge construction towards the bottom where the course empties out to the ski slope is almost complete. The guys have been out all day today working on it and it looks SWEET! Check out the night pics just taken a few minutes ago.
holy shit that thing looks sweet. but doesnt it seem a little skinny for being a 4x course?

Thanks to the help of many people the course is now in a rideable state. Although a bunch of sections need to be refined a lot more you can pretty much ride everything. So yeah that does include the road gap. =)
Here are some videos of the first lucky people to hit the road gap:

looks sweet but i think it needs a little bit more of a tranny.... that landing sounds/looks a little harsh.. not to mention its a mtx race course not a uber huck gnar freeride course... but none the less it looks like fun and i cant wait to get to pkill again

Yeah it still needs a ton of work we just wanted to get it open to riders asap. So far everyone who hit it said it feels good and you can really carry a lot of speed off it. We need to build that berm way higher after the landing though.

I rode the course this weekend. Here's my 2 cent review.
The course starts right where "Wall Drop" spits you out. It's a super fun and flowy ride. From the top, you hit a little gap, then some twisty, steep stuff…all with nice large berms.
About 1/3 of the way down you get to the road gap. Standing on top of this drop it looks huge. A rough measurement, and I think the builders agree, is about 15' vertical (depending on how fast you go) and about 30' distance. It's super smooth and fun. The transition is smooth and huge. The pictures really don't do justice to how perfect it is. After hitting it once friends and I starting tweaking a little style (as much as I have which isn't much). Everyone who hit it was pushing back up with a smile on their face. Though
