Im ridin for the kicks and dont care about much else. Look how different Road biking is from street BMX. Those are clearly 2 different sports. Why couldnt XC and whatever i do be 2 seperate sports? Because they're both done on MTBs. You couldn't do a roadrace on a street BMX, and I doubt you could ride street on a road bike. It IS however, possible to jump/ride park/etc. on an XC bike, and you can ride XC on a jump/park/etc MTB (with a longer seatpost I guess.). Mt Snow had a very tech XC course and Tomac rode it with so much style. In one rooty as shit corner he launched over the roots while passing a couple dudes in the process - everyone was freaking out. This is when he also raced DH and DS as well. Another XC dude that rad as f**k is Tinker. I was gonna mention him, but I couldn't remember his name for some reason, and "that C-dale guy" is a bit vague.
