Just finished putting together the new Riot. Bike rides like a dream. Super easy to maneuver, manuals great and truly rides so smooth. Final build came to 29lbs even. I did add a few things since taking the pic including a Thomson post, Tree 22t chainring, Shadow chain and 12t cog and lowered the fork to 80mm.

Build Specs:

08' Riot - 21.5" tt, horizontal drops
RockShox Argyle 318
Shadow Conspiracy Torrid cranks, 175mm
Profile euro bb cups
Tree 22t splined
'We the people' integratedheadset
Thomson stem, 50mm
Truvativ Holzfeller bar
Woodman Bill SS rear hub, 36h, laced to black EX721, DT spokes
Woodman Bill LTi front, 36h, laced to black EX721, silver DT spokes
Wellgo Magnesium pedals
Thomson post
Surely clamp
HFX-9 hydraulic rear brake
K-Rad tires
Shadow chain
ODI lock-on BMX grips
Fly seat

sick build and the gearing does sound easy. it's not my bike but a 10 t cog would feel better with the 22t tree.

I replaced my Holzfellers with Deity bars and replaced my HFX-9 hydraulics with a BB7 and Avid Speed Dial 7 lever. Oh and a white housing to match. Lever and caliper are 08' and I love the newcolor. Now the bike is 99.5% complete and only remaining item is the Ti spindle.

Final weight as is 29.25lbs but will get below 29 with the spindle. I absolutely love how this bike rides and love how it came out asthetically. Everyting is black, white or chrome (except the red knobs on the caliper and lever).

I actually love the ratio. It is hard enough for the indoor park but not too hard for that extra pedal you need. For me and my riding style it is perfect. All of the parks I go to I do not need anything more.. A 12t is the smallest that fits on a SS cassette without a 1-piece driver. I have my 25t and extra chain if I go anywhere that needs a taller gear...
