ok, im fairly new to trials. i just got an alibongo and i love it, i put an old crapy ridgid fork on it, i come from a dh racing background and i cant stand having such a low front end on my trials bike, i mean i can do evrything fine its just im not comfortable doing drops with it so low. so do u all recomend that i get one of those "suspension corrected" ridgidforks that are usualy found on urban/dj bikes?, how will this effect the geometry? input greatly appreciated.

thanks alot-- ALex

You dont want a fork TOO high, most trials bike use between 400-415 mm axle to crown lengths. I would suggest the PX kniffen light. The regular version and then either run your bars higher, or soemthing. Its not a DH bike, so it will feel different.

The 420 mm PX fork is going to slacken the head angle out way too much- the fork you are running now could be as short as 375ish, swap it, put the fork the bike was designed around on and enjoy. Alibongos are nice!

im on the 420mm PX superlight fork and i love it, but im riding on a more versatile frame (newjackflash), try the 400mm version of the same fork, it seems right for you.

The Alibongo is pretty much setup to have a non-corrected fork on it...it uses more of a comp style geometry...if you did put another fork on it, I wouldn't go more than an 80mm corrected, but even that will throw off the feel of what that frame is designed for...
