Im New to the whole street/trials world and am very interested in getting into it i am currently searching for a good inexpensive trials frame that i can still use for some street type riding. I am looking seriously at the Identiti Dr. Jeykll frame only because my shop does not cary the trial specific Identiti Judge frame. I have heard nothing but good things about Identiti as a company. But am just wondering if the Dr. Jeykll would be a good trials/street frame to build up.

evan,
the only problem you might have are the drop outs. However, with your weight and riding I dont think it would matter. If you are really doing trials and not just street and park stuff I would get something more trials oriented (like the older jackflash frames) however, given the fact you are gonna run suspension, will be hitting dirt jumps and riding street I think you will be good.

Ok i have narrowed it down to 2 frames...the planet x jack flash and the woodman elite... which would be best for a very light weight rider new to the trials scene?

the px will prolly be stronger but if your new to trials it will be much harder to learn on. if your lightweight and not a hack i wouldnt worry about breaking frames. but if youre stuck on planet x, you could also check out the zebdi maybe.

i absolutely love my PX new jack flash, and i have it set up with a 420mm PX superlight rigid fork, it helps it be very versatile for street and trials. i can bunnyhop onto a picnic table and still pedalkick for a million miles with the frame. from someone who actually has one, definitely go with the PX. you will not be disappointed
