I really want one of these bad. Does anyone know if you can get one with a steel steerer. Also, I remember someone saying that they are going to lower the price on the new model. Should I wait or get one now and who's got the best price?

They are decent....but I blew up two of them in 1 month...I don't think a steel steering tube will do anything but add weight. My problems were eith blowing the lockout swith...They seem to be high maintainence.....not the best fork to just put on and ride with no problems along the way.

my lockout lever went out, too. it was on my imperial, though. how much do you weigh and what kind of riding were you using it for?
if my fork gets warrantied, i might be convinced to sell it.

I weigh 150 and I broke that shit doing demos on the WT in '02. Not much "hard" riding on it.
