Maybe I'm too stupid to understand but you're calling me a moronic child for writing a sacarstic comment defending Trials? Maybe I should have added at the end of my comment. Or is it for some other reason?

A canucks perspective.........
Trials died with the release of contact.
All street riders are converted trials riders.
The US is dead, CAN is dieing/converting, europe is flurishing.

Maybe france and poland are going well, with the trial riding,.. but apart from that...
I got a Hans Rey book, that I got for my birthdays a few years ago. God I f**king hate all that kind of riding that is in that book. I'm glad it's dying out... it stings to look at.
However, I find that newer more flowing trial is interesting; which is closer to street riding.
But like, pedal-kick drops to flat rearwheel landing... how f**king dull is it?!
My only question, and it's an honest non-mocking one, is why do people feel the need to wear a skinsuit to ride trials? I don't think aerodynamics really comes into play at the speeds they're going...

i dont think it makes sense either, unless they wore capes and pretended to be SUPERMAN. that would be completly understandable, you could hop up anything.

Obviously. But I have yet to see that, so I'm still against it.

for the record, Lenosky still rides trials. PURE NATTY trials. I was fortunate and got to ride with him and Ringing Rocks park about 2 weekends ago now, and yes, he still is f***ing sick at it.
To everyone complaining that trials is dull: go out and try it sometime. Anyone can ride a bike off a drop and have a half decent landing. But to do a 5'+ drop from a dead stop to a flat landing and not break your wrists (or your bike for that matter) takes more skill than can be learned in a week. I guess trials is where all the riders with any amount of patience end up. (not to say street/dj/dh/etc don't require patience, trials just has a much larger/longer/harder learning curve).
